QA Audio Team Lead

Recording & Studio Technology

Based in High Wycombe / Hybrid (min 2-3 days a week in the office)

**Salary**: £40k
- 60k per annum + excellent benefits

Join one of the biggest names in music tech as a QA Team Lead to help lead and manage the QA Team and ensure that our next generations of audio interfaces and recording equipment meet our customer's quality expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading, managing, and coaching the QA Team
- Providing the technical guidance, and review/approval of test approaches
- Together with the QA Manager, agreeing project staffing and budgeting, including long-range planning and hiring
- Leading ongoing process improvement initiatives across the team

**Skill Profile**:

- Passionate and knowledgeable about music, audio technology, and recording
- From a testing or quality assurance background, with experience of working with hardware, software, or embedded firmware
- A clear communicator, with a proven track record of technical leadership
- Hands-on, with the technical credibility to guide and advise others
- Used to working in Waterfall and Agile development environments
- Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage
- Familiar with using automated testing to improve efficiency
- Flexible, and able to effectively prioritize and schedule across multiple projects
- Methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving
- Essential knowledge and experience in music production, audio interface, DAWs and etc.
