Head of Controlling

Job Introduction
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer for TGWNE and working in the Finance function, the Head of Controlling will primarily be responsible for all planning, reporting and controlling aspects of the financial delivery of the business.

The individual will work closely with other Finance team members, the Northern Europe Leadership Team, as well as other key stakeholders within TGW NE.

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for TGW NE
- Ensuring all project controlling across the organisation is in line with TGW Group policies and procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing the creation, preparation and maintenance of all monthly management reporting for the business, plus ad-hoc reports where required.
- Working closely with the CFO for development of long term plans in line with Group Strategic initiatives.
- Manage, direct and prioritise the team’s activities in line with monthly reporting deadlines and business schedules.
- Manage team performance, including annual PDI’s, regular one-to-one meetings and training and development programmes.
- Jointly contribute to the leadership of the Finance department with the CFO and Head of Accounting.
- Working closely with the CFO and other members of the C-Level team on strategic programmes within the organisation, validating any financial impacts and outcomes from key decisions.
- Oversee the transmission of all financial reporting information to the Austrian Holding organisation.
- Continually looking for improvements to the management accounting, controlling and reporting processes for improved efficiency in their delivery.
- Any other ad hoc duties as directed by the CFO

About You
- Previous experience of working within a dynamic finance team
- Professional Finance Qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
- Previous experience in a multi-national Projects based, engineering business
- A background in Material Handling/Automation Industry is preferred
- Outstanding communicator across all levels of the business
- Strong analytical skills; decision orientated and fact driven
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications
- Experience of Navision, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
- Organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise workload in meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust with employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships across an international group
