**Position Overview**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant to join the South Shields Factory on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be key to supporting the Production teams, Team Leader and QC Technician in all ancillary activities.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Safety**
- Ensure that Health and Safety policies are adhered to.
- Ensure that Safe Working Procedures are adhered to.
- Supply replacement sewing needles to the production team and ensure all used needles or broken needle parts are accounted for in line with needle policy.

**Quality**
- To ensure correct trims and labels are distributed to the production team.
- To ensure that the correct cut work is loaded to the production line in line with production plan.
- Ensure re-cuts are processed and delivered to the production team in a timely and accurate manner.

**Cost**
- Report all machine breakdowns and issues to the maintenance department.

**Delivery**
- Ensure production is moved from process to process in a smooth and orderly fashion.
- To assist and participate with the Production Team leaders, Quality Technician and Operators in the process of new style introduction, to agreed standards and moved to the Finishing Department in a timely manner.

**People**
- Undertake any other reasonable activity, as may be required by team leader or senior management.

**Additional Information**:

- Must be able to work 4 days Monday-Thursday 36 hours - 07:45am-5:15pm.
