**Role**: Oracle Performance Specialist

**Location**: London (remote working optional)

**Rate**: £800 - £1000 Umbrella

**Duration**: 3 Month initial contract

You will be responsible for the analysis of performance bottlenecks, creating a small book of work for improvements and executing the most complex of improvements.

This role would handle the SME tasks associated with their specifications as a database performance expert.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Help to solve difficult technical issues and defects
- Assist with DevOps tasks such as the maintenance of builds.
- Give input on architectural decisions for features and investigating and resolving issues with legacy code and practices.
- Mentor more junior members of staff
- Teach best practice through sharing new knowledge and improvements with other teams.
- Experience in developing in Oracle Apex versions 18, 19 and 20
- Modern front end development using Oracle APEX
- Oracle Apex customised templating experience and working with CSS and HTML
- Experience in REST Web Services
- Oracle database 11g, 12c 18c and 19c
- SQL and PL/SQL
