HR ASSISTANT

Full time - 40 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 3.15pm

Location: Office with some home working.

Job Summary
- Duties_
- Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:_

**Recruitment**
- Assist management team in all aspects of recruitment.
- Act as the first point of contact for all company hiring.
- Help to create job descriptions and adverts.
- Advertise on relevant platforms, including social media.
- Set up and maintain onboarding process.

**HR Support**
- Maintain and update personnel records through our HR Software, including processing new starters, employee changes, holiday allowances and right to work checks.
- Co ordinate and organise DBS checks for relevant employees.
- Manage internal documentation, setting up templates and drafting letters for employee correspondence.
- Liase with payroll to provide starters, leavers, holiday, sickness and timesheet administration.
- Liase with the Management team and our external HR advisor to improve the HR and recruitment process.
- Day to day admin support as required.

**Learning and development**
- Organise and schedule training as directed by the management team.
- Enagage with schools and colleges to organise apprenticeships, internships and work experience.
- Organise volunteering and charity events.

Essential Skills
- Experience working in a HR Admin role.
- Experience working with HR software.
- Experience working with Microsoft office (Excel and Word).
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
