**Role Description**:
We are currently recruiting for a Transaction Reporting Manager to join our Chester team within the Submission Control function. Our team is primarily focused on ensuring the bank fulfils its reporting obligations daily and remediating any exceptions received from the trade repositories and global regulators.

Transaction Reporting Operations (TR Ops) is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the bank’s transaction reporting requirements. Information passed to the regulators is designed to enhance transparency, reduce risk to ensure financial stability and prevent market abuse. The global team, which is based in the UK, US, and India, covers 30+ transaction reporting obligations (e.g. EMIR, MiFID). To help maintain control standards and provide scalability to cope with existing and new regulatory requirements, TR Ops is functionally aligned:

- Submission Control: Monitoring daily submissions and swiftly addressing pre-/post submission errors
- Enhanced Quality Assurance: Validating the data we have reported is correct using dip-testing and thematic reviews
- Remediation: A function dedicated to the resolution of reporting breaches, responsible for root cause analysis, requirements definition, testing and implementation
- Initiatives: Responsible for reviewing regulatory change, new trading activity or products for the potential impact to the bank’s transaction reporting obligations
- Delegated Reporting: A dedicated client-facing team to support the bank’s delegated reporting service
- Governance: A centralised risk, control, and governance function
- TR Ops People Agenda: This is a group of volunteers which comprises of associates from all the above teams who are split into 4 sub-groups: Learning & development, Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and Mobility & Retention. The objective of these groups is to ensure easy access to resources, provide opportunities to engage outside of BAU activities, create an inclusive environment and to aid job satisfaction. **Core Skills**:
Project Management & Analytical Tools:

- Basic project management skills and experience in managing small projects and initiatives
- Ability to conduct meaningful analysis on large data sets
- Experience in producing and providing commentary on MI
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

Team Leader Experience:

- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills.

Industry Experience:

- Experience of working in Investment Banking Middle Office, Operations, or other relevant functions
- Familiarity with key products covered by regulatory reporting obligations (FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, Futures & Options)
- Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders at varying levels of seniority

Regulatory Background (Nice to have):

- Exhibits an understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape
- Is familiar with key regulations that require transaction reporting
