We have part time and full time positions available working in the Skipton and Craven area. Offering a range of flexible shifts, we should be able to accommodate most people’s working requirements, however due to the nature of the position, you will be required to work every other weekend.

Dignicare is a Living wage foundation accredited employer, and as such our support workers are paid £11.50 per hour weekdays and £12.00 per hour weekends

Your role as a support worker will be to provide person-centred care and support for the people in their own homes. That includes personal care, mealtimes and engagement through activities, either in groups with shared interests or on an individual basis. You’ll also be there to provide a listening ear to those who need it most.

Every day as a support worker will be interesting and varied - all our service users are different, from their care needs to their personalities and life experiences. What you’ll do can be inspiring and hugely enjoyable, as you build strong relationships based on understanding, trust and genuine care.
