To achieve this, we recently launched our Patient Strategy - The Fundamentals of Care. This approach to improve patient care and safety will bring together all professional groups, in a joint improvement programme. Our Patient Strategy will empower our Clinical Groups to work on what issues matter most to their patients and staff. The Deputy COO will play a key role in delivering improved efficiency and productivity standards across the trust that underpins the patient strategy.

You will focus on improving access to timely and effective care supporting the clinical groups to improve delivery of non-elective, elective care and cancer services. You will a have defined portfolio which will include leading teams covering patient access, site management cancer services all of which have a strong management team in place.

This is a time of both challenge and progress for our organisation, with plans to move some of our services to our new MMUH in the near future.
