As a **Communications Officer **your main responsibilities would be:

- Work closely with the IDD Programme Comms Lead to assist with all communications activities required to support global IDD programmes.
- Helping to deliver timely, accurate and concise messages to colleagues on IDD programmes and encouraging active feedback in consultation with IDD Comms and Engagement Team.
- Monitoring Teams Channels and group mailboxes in accordance with programme related communications and liaison with posts.
- Assisting with the setup of Teams Channels and progressing any queries arising from ITSOs or colleagues, and ensuring they are followed through to resolution.
- Assisting with editing and proof-reading presentations and documentation to a high standard
- Knowledge of working in an IT Project/Programme delivery environment
- Experience of working in an organisation with varying degrees of understanding of IT/project management/comms
- Willing to take responsibility to get things done and have excellent interpersonal skills, together with a customer focussed and organised approach.
- Experience using MS Office suite of products and collaborative working tools e.g., MS Teams, Yammer etc

**Necessary requirements**
- Solid foundation of Professional Stakeholder Communications and Engagement skills
- Self-starter - able to hit the ground running, working in a high paced atmosphere

- Public Sector experience - DESIRABLE- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
