**About the role**

We are looking for either full or part time care assistants; with the added option of overtime. Full in house training provided including conducting the CQC Care Certificate, Diplomas level 2 & 3. Carers will work with existing and new clients in and around Allestree, Darley Abbey, Quarndon and Duffield.

Working as part of a friendly team, you will deliver person centred care in the client’s home. As a company, we are committed to providing a safe workplace. Safeguarding policies are in place to ensure the safety of both our staff and clients, and we require staff to uphold and ensure these policies are adhered to.

**Responsibilities include supporting clients with**:

- Washing & bathing using their preferred methods
- Toileting requirements and incontinence needs, whilst maintaining their privacy
- Administering medication
- Providing companionship, shopping trips, daily tasks, appointments
- Meal preparation

**Specification**
- Salary **£12.00 per hour **(Monday -Friday 7am - 8pm) to **£13.00 per hour** (Sat, Sun, BH, and after 8pm at night).
- 35p a mile allowance.
- **UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential**:

- Early shift: 7am - 2pm **/** Late shift: 4pm - 10pm
- Flexibility with shifts
- **Alternate weekends required**

**Contracted Hours**
- **16hrs**:3 days
- **20hrs**: 4 days
- **25hrs**: 5 days
- **30hrs+**: 5 days (including 1 all-day)
