Exciting operations and risk associate level opportunity with a leading brokerage.
We're looking for an Operations Control Associate to join our clients specialist function and keep their business protected from risks.
You help to look after our first-line risk operating model, within the specialty trading divisions. Coordinate, manage and implement policies, procedures and controls that minimise our business risk
- **Your Role**:

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the 2nd and 3rd line teams ensuring a joined up three lines of defence model is operating optimally.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of Core Process Flows and make sure they remain live at all times including any online or intranet material.
- Own all key process control artefacts i.e. checklists and templates
- Facilitate file audits whilst maintaining the set governance framework.
- Produce timely, quality and relevant reporting. Regularly communicate amendments to policies and procedures.
- Driving continuous operational improvement updating of the control framework and undertaking root cause analysis and trend analysis of operational issues

- **Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience. Ideally a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
- With operations, support or back office experience, you're able to review and improve processes within a regulated environment and framework.
- Risk management & Regulatory exposure - ideally within insurance, broking or underwriting environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, happy to communicate optimally with all levels, including senior management.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive attitude, problem-solving mind-set with the ability to develop creative approaches and solutions
- Highly motivated and results focussed with a diligent approach, with the highest degree of integrity.
- Proficient in MS office
