Job Title: Order Enablement Coordinator

Division: Weir Minerals

Location: Todmorden, Onsite/Hybrid

Purpose of Role:
The Order Enablement (OE) Coordinator will ensure that order parts are sourced and locked down to enable full orders to be delivered for the business.

On a daily basis, provide an update and overview necessary to identify the critical business decisions which will be referred to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend the daily assembly meeting & co-ordinate the actions. Report back any quality issues/ad hoc issues, instructions of urgent replacements will need reporting to the purchasing team & communication re damage items (they will need to be moved into blocked so it doesn’t show free on the system).
- Close the loop ensuring NCR actions are followed up /monitored.
- Actively oversee the order book and monitor any bottlenecks per pump; manually check ways to expediate & instruct vendor schedulers to cancel PO’s on vendors & order from a different source.
- SAP is working first come first serve - a pump might be due out later but only missing one component, the stock will already be reserved to a pump due earlier that has two missing parts - stock needs to be manually allocated /unallocated so we can ship 1 full pump.
- Ensure the approval process is followed when requesting Air freight.
- If there is no solution to improve the OE co-ordinator needs to advise the order fulfilment manager and sales so the customer is alerted & advised of new date.
- Pull forwards of customer orders to Sales team so we have approval to ship early to avoid a situation where the finished goods filling up the warehouse so this needs to be actively managed.
- Attend weekly OE order book review meeting.
- Attend weekly meeting with Sales OE leads.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service with the ability to form effective working relationships with internal customers.
- Able to work effectively across teams and be proactive to deliver the bigger picture.
- Dynamic approach with good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Commercially minded.
- Ability to work on own initiative and focus to accuracy.
- Computer literacy - including knowledge of MRP systems.
- Team player yet self-motivated and proactive.
- IT-Literate: Microsoft Office skills including MS-Excel are essential with SAP knowledge desirable.
