A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a compliance administrator to join the Cobra Network Team. The team is responsible for providing compliance advice and support to Cobra Network Members and providing MI to the PIB Group.
You will assist with the internal reporting function and in delivering the established compliance consultancy services to Cobra Network Members and provide support with compliance reporting.
**Responsibilities: **
- Produce management information (MI) relevant to the compliance team.
- Work with the compliance consultants to produce and update compliance templates for use by Cobra Network Members.
- Keep the catalogue of templates up to date.
- Work with the compliance consultants to keep the compliance manual up to date for use by Cobra Network Members.
- Assist Cobra Network Members with Connect Applications and any changes needed.
- Assist Cobra Network Members with completion and submission of the RegData return.
- Assist and advise on FCA surveys or other regulatory submissions.
- Keep the Cobra Network team informed of changes to the FCA Rules, consultation papers and policy statements through the most appropriate medium.
- Attend Cobra Network events as required and provide compliance updates as required.
- Promote Cobra and the Compliance Offering through social media, specifically the use of LinkedIn.
- Review and update the Compliance section of the Cobra Network Website.
- Assist with member onboarding for Compliance.
- Produce publications for members and member events (content to be provided).
- Execute low-complexity compliance tasks.
- Learn and understand how compliance underpins the activities of Cobra Network Members.
- Learn and digest the regulatory requirements insurance intermediaries must adhere to through on-the-job training and self-motivated research.
- Support and assist the Cobra Network Compliance Team in the delivery of activities defined in the annual compliance plan.
- Attend monthly team meetings and provide compliance updates as required.
- Work with the Cobra Network Team to review and update the risk Dashboard quarterly.
- Undertake file reviews on internal broking desk activity.
- Support broking desk team members with general queries.
- Provide information when requested to meet the regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist in the production of reports to inform management on various matters.
- Work with the Cobra Network Team to maintain and update the Business Continuity Plan.
- Adhere to the Cobra Network policies and procedures.
- Adhere to Cobra Network standards regarding training.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.

**Experience: **
- An ability to analyse data and accurate data entry skills
- A good understanding of insurance broking and communication skills

**Desirable experience includes: **
- Knowledge of the Acturis broking system
- Understanding of FCA regulatory requirements for Non-Investment Insurance business
- Good understanding of and ability to use the FCA reporting systems
