**Salary**: £45,326+ Dependent on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Plan and develop java software to expand our battlespace simulation
- Responsibility for tasks and staff
- Deliver simulation software to support analyst colleagues to meet their study needs
- Understand complex future requirements and prioritise and capture the important features in reliable, efficient and maintainable software
- Opportunity to design and execute simulated defence experiments and present results to senior stakeholders

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Software writing experience
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Effective communication of complex ideas
- Focus on regular delivery of improvements over striving for perfection
- Support of colleagues for the benefit of the team
