Our newly established early education setting has access to local woodland on the outskirts of Hove. We offer children aged 1-5 a unique early years’ experience immersed in the outdoors and influenced by Nordic approaches to education.

This September, we plan to extend our reach by opening a new Nursery. For this new venture, we are in search of a committed and skilled Forest School Educator to help us deliver a broad range of forest schools and outdoor learning activities.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**:

- Your primary role will be planning and delivering high-quality forest school sessions, creating an engaging, fun, supportive, and safe environment in alignment with our ethos.
- You will also take up the role of Key Person, contributing to our curriculum and programme of activities that meet children's individual needs and interests within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- As a key person to a small group of children, you will liaise with their parents, being responsible for maintaining monitoring/reporting and celebrating their developmental milestones. You will also ensure the outdoor environment remains clean and safe, thus demonstrating a firm commitment to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery.

**About You**:

- A full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience of working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Basic knowledge of the Early Years Framework.
- Current Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene certificates are preferable.

You should be passionate about promoting the Forest School ethos, empowering children through outdoor education, and encouraging them to be independent, confident, and capable learners.
