**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a dynamic and organised post-graduate research assistant to join the Shared Parenting Post Separation research project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. The project will explore family functioning and children’s adjustment and experiences of post-separation parenting in with children aged 4 to 8 years old. You will assist with recruitment, data collection and coding, as well as dissemination of research findings.
This post is part-time (60%FTE: 21 hours per week) and we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- Good knowledge of child development.
- Research experience with parents and children.
- Experience of working with sensitive topics.
- Experience in processing and managing research data. Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work, being able to work independently and as part of a team when required.
