Senior Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a **Senior Wellbeing Coordinator** to work within our Winchester based community services, Hand in Hand and our Dementia Support service.
Our Hand in Hand service is a wellbeing, befriending and signposting service which works with volunteers in Winchester and the wider community. This new role will sit alongside our Dementia Support service, and both services will work together with the common goal of supporting those to live well in our community.
Main responsibilities include:
- To process and be responsible for the St John’s Hand in Hand referrals and ensure they are delt with in a timely manner.
- To undertake home visiting and befriending service supporting any signposting needs identified, and manage St John’s volunteers in addition to working with our Volunteer Coordinator and volunteer service to meet these needs.
- Be actively involved with our volunteer service and support St John’s to build the offering through the deployment of volunteers.
- To work alongside our Dementia Support service and Hand in Hand service to ensure the best possible outcomes for those using the service.
- Maintain strong links to all St John’s service teams supporting those living in the wider community and in the almshouses, in line with the wider St John’s strategy.
- You will be expected to actively network and build strong links with external service providers and third sector providers to ensure strong working relations.

**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
