SEN Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and 3)

Teaching Personnel in partnership with a primary specialist school based in South Manchester, Wythenshawe (M22) are looking to hire a Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.The school caters for pupils aged 4-11 with MLD (mild learning difficulties)including ASC, and challenging behaviours. They aim to equip their pupils with essential life skills before they continue their journey onto secondary education.

The School

The school will require you to be able to adapt easily and quickly to a new environment, there may be challenging situations and behaviours that arise so having the ability to deal with these in a calm and professional manner is a requirement. The pupilsare all vulnerable and will require extra care and patience during their time with you, you must put the needs and wellbeing of the pupils before your own and be able to form trusting and respectful relationships with the pupils in your care. They providetheir pupils with specialist interventions to further develop both their educational and holistic wellbeing and progression, the pupils will all have their own individual EHC plan which will need to be adhered to daily, meaning the interventions will be inline with their targets and needs.

Key Information
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (8:30 - 3:30pm).
- Need to have TA Qualifications L2 or 3 or equivalent in health and social or childcare.
- School experience is desirable.
- Chorley based (PR7).
- Competitive hourly rate of pay £10.77 p/h.
- Primary SEN school (4-11 years).
