Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Graduate to join our team at Teaching Personnel as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Psychology and SEMH. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the educational and emotional growth of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Behaviour Management: Utilize effective strategies to manage challenging behaviour in a supportive and constructive manner.
  • Relationship Building: Develop positive and trusting relationships with students to facilitate their emotional growth and wellbeing.
  • SEMH Support: Employ holistic techniques to address SEMH needs and promote positive outcomes for students.
  • Professional Development: Complete Team Teach training to effectively support students and enhance your skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Daily Rate: £84+ per day through PAYE, with no umbrella company or agency fees.
  • Full-time Position: Monday-Friday, paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel.
