**The Company**

Bakeri Baltzersen is the recently established wholesale and retail bakery operation that is part of Baltzersen’s, and is based 7km outside Harrogate at Springfield Farm on the A59 near Menwith Hill. We bake a range of long fermented sourdough loaves, rye, ciabatta and more traditional yeasted white and granary style loaves/rolls. We also bake pastry and vienoisserie from scratch.

**The Role**

We have a single night shift available for a Bakery Driver and Packer.

The available shift is from 00:01 Sunday to 09:00 Sunday Morning.

This could be an ideal role for someone who works full-time during the week and is looking to top up their earnings over the weekend. Alternatively for someone who wants to work part-time. There will be ample opportunity to pick up additional shifts as holiday cover across the rest of the week on a regular basis (by prior arrangement that suits both parties) if that is of interest.

Duties will include:
Packing products for delivery.

Driving and delivering to our partners.

Other duties as required by the bakery manager.

**Early Start Early Finish**

Baking is a process that happens overnight so we can get bread and pastries to our partners and customers as fresh as they can be. With this brings early starts for you as a driver/packer at Midnight. You need to be the type of person that can be relied upon to get into work because you could be the first person in for a packing shift - sleeping through your alarm is not an option.

**Packing**

We have a packing team that arrive before you but you should expect to spend the first 1-2 hours helping to finish picking items and then loading your van ready to depart.

**Driving**

We have a range of vans all under 3 years old that are a pleasure to drive and most of the deliveries are complete before traffic starts getting busy.

You are most likely to be driving a route that will take you down to Wakefield and then various stops on the way back including Dewsbury, Halifax, Saltaire, Ilkley and Skipton.

**Transport**

The location of the bakery and the times of the shifts mean that you need to have your own transport to get you to and from the bakery. Public transport is not an option.

**Pay**

The basic rate for this role is £11.20/hr.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £14.20 per hour
