Financial Services Administrator

My client is a financial advice firm based in the market town of Spalding; they are currently looking for an experiences Financial Services Administrator.
My client is a small and friendly team who offer a supportive environment and work hard to listen to their staff and provide a positive working environment. My client can offer flexible working (once fully trained and competent) where the needs of the businessand their high service standards are not compromised and aim for all our staff to feel included and valued.
The key aspects of the role are as follows.
- Application Processing_
- Updating business trackers and actively maintaining the client records with notes regarding all activity undertaken;
- Check adviser meeting notes and provider correspondence and use experience and knowledge to correctly identify all action required and set up accurate work tasks.
- Client Servicing_
- Action changes to clients’ policies as instructed e.g. fund switches, withdrawals, income payments etc.
- Accurately maintain all client records with any activity undertaken;
- Assist in answering telephone calls related to cases in progress;
- Comply with FCA regulation, Data Protection and Anti Money Laundering legislation;
- Personal Development & Teamwork_
- Attend and contribute to Team and staff meetings;
- Take responsibility for managing own workload and proactive problem solving;
- Actively look for and contribute to process improvements for the benefit of all Team members;
- Support Team Leader and other Team members with higher workloads;
- Undertake personal training to maintain and develop knowledge and communicate to rest of team;
- Skills Required_
- Stay calm under pressure;
- Prioritise own workload effectively;
- Work independently;
- Adapt to a fast-changing environment working with Team Leader and Senior Managers as well as helping other staff.
- Essential Experience_
One to two years’ minimum experience of working in financial services with regular client contact and knowledge of industry related products, websites and back-office systems (Intelligent Office, iPipeline preferred). This role is supported by a team whomanage IFA diaries, answer phones, prepare documentation for meetings, set up client records and gather existing plan information.

Hours of work 9 to 5 with an hour for lunch. overtime is on a strictly voluntary basis if the need arises
Holiday allowance (exclusive of BH’s) - 30 inclusive of 8 BHs, 22 days without, plus discretional Christmas closure, Christmas to New Year.
