Overview:
JBT currently has a great opportunity for a
**Stores Goods In Assistant** to join the Proseal team in Cheshire. Working within the stores department and supporting the goods in team, you will report to our Supply Chain Manager who is keen to get someone onboard who is eager to get stuck in and enjoys working in a team environment.

Your role as our
**Stores Goods In Assistant** is a key part of the organisation as you must ensure that deliveries into the business are received accurately and are of the quality we expect. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and partake in cycle counting and discrepancy investigations.

You will work alongside the Kitting and Dispatch departments to ensure continuity of material and component availability for internal production and customers. You will also be required to liaise with other departments across the business such as Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing, to arrange for stock to be transported around the site.

**Responsibilities**:
A day in the life of our **Stores Goods In Assistant **looks like this
- Manual handling of stock following best practices
- Use of pallet trucks and other safe lifting equipment
- Cycle counting and stocktaking
- Loading/Unloading of delivery vehicles and signing for deliveries
- Accurately receiving, checking, and booking components into inventory on ERP/MRP software
- Arranging and actioning on-site logistics of palletised/large deliveries
- Following Goods In Quality Inspection procedures
- Identifying, labelling, and safe storage of components in multiple locations
- Accurate recording and filing of delivery paperwork
- Reporting and investigating stock discrepancies with the relevant persons(s)
- Communicating with other departments
- Adhering to a high standard of Health and Safety and housekeeping

Qualifications:
What we would like from our** Stores Goods In Assistant**
- IT and MS Office literate
- 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ store’s role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to lift up to 25kg and has good physical strength
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong belief in adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times
- Experience in Quality Control (desirable)
- Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems (desirable)
