As a Barista at Nixon Coffee, you'll be the heart of our operation, responsible for creating delicious coffee beverages and providing outstanding service to our customers. Your main focus will be on mastering the art of coffee making while ensuring a clean and organized workspace. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders with a friendly and attentive demeanor, providing personalized recommendations when needed
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment following established recipes and techniques
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment, utensils, and serving stations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records on the cash register
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, ensuring quality and freshness
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and hygiene
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, calculating change, and measuring ingredients
- Previous experience in food preparation is advantageous, particularly in a cafe or restaurant setting
- Exceptional customer service skills with a helpful and approachable attitude
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided

**Join Our Team**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.70 per hour

Expected hours: 42 - 84 per week
