Starting Salary: £39,592 with the opportunity to develop and earn in the role: £41,562 + an annual bonus.

About the Profession/Team:
The operations profession offers a wide range of opportunities, organised into our four values streams (remediation, retrievals, special nuclear materials and spent fuel management) each brings its own specialised training personalised to you and your area. The challenges within operations mean no two days are alike and a large professional network is in place to ensure innovation is actively encouraged. The variety of work ranges from manual hands-on, to driving of industrial machinery or controlling cutting edge robotics dependant on the task at hand.
The operations profession has a well-established structure with development opportunities clearly set out for those with the drive and ambition to match their performance.
Essential Skills:
- 3 GCSEs (Grade C or above including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications)
- Experience in an operational or construction environment, with specific focus on Health and Safety.
- Evidence of good communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
- Proven ability of working with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, with due diligence to safety of people and the environment.
- Good understanding of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of managing isolations
- Previous work experience within the Nuclear Industry
- Demonstrable experience of driving improvements
- Knowledge of Integrated Work Delivery processes
