Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials and techniques
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations
- Measure, cut, and shape roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install or repair flashing, gutters, and downspouts
- Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

**Skills**:

- Proficient in working with masonry, power tools, and hand tools
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques for roof construction and repair
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Strong ability to build, plumb, and align roof structures accurately
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
