**Job title: Maintenance Assistant**
**Salary: £11.44 per hour**
**Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall**
**Hours: 20 hours per week TBC, Monday to Friday**
**Contract: Permanent, Part Time 52 weeks**

Due to growth in service, we are recruiting a Maintenance Person to join our team at Belmont Secondary School.
**About the role**
The post holder will:
- Work within the Maintenance team to maintain a high standard of the internal and external areas across the site and support the proactive management of the school’s estate.
- Ensure all stakeholders benefit from high standards of service.
- Work within the Maintenance team to provide the school with a safe environment for all people - pupils, staff, visitors and contractors.
**Essential**
- Previous experience of Maintenance work
- GCSE's grade C/4 and above in English and Maths
- Good inter-personal skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
**Desirable**
- Experience of working within a care and educational setting
- Experience of working with listed buildings
- Experience of working within a Conservation Area
- Competent in the use of IT office skills
