We're looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join us and play a crucial role in managing our finances with finesse

At Coopers, we believe in the power of efficient financial management and controls. Our finance department ensures all financial aspects of the business are accurately recorded and processed each month, guaranteeing a solid financial foundation for our growth.

**Your Role**:
As our Finance Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, focusing on cash reporting and purchase ledger management. But that's not all You'll also dive into exciting ad hoc tasks as they arise, making every day a new adventure.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Perform daily cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring every sale is accounted for with precision.
- Handling cash regularly throughout the week.
- Manage the petty cash with meticulous care.
- Skilfully set up new suppliers on our system, ensuring all information is complete and processes are followed.
- Check and code supplier invoices with accuracy on our purchase ledger system.
- Assist in preparing seamless payment runs, making sure every transaction is smooth.
- Regularly reconcile supplier accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct monthly business credit card analysis, liaising with other departments for correct information.
- Raise invoices when required and be a supportive team player during holidays and busy periods.

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience and understanding of Purchase Ledger and Cash Book.
- Previous experience in a finance team, understanding financial controls.
- You never miss a beat when it comes to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Masterful at keeping things on track and organized.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
