Inbound Supply Planner

As the Inbound Supply Planner, you will act as the lead interface to manufacturing sites to maintain supply and solve any potential supply issues. Responsible for all inbound collections and delivery support into the Wincanton Central Warehouse and Clyde Yard locations.

**Day to Day**
- Responsible for all inbound collections and delivery support into the Wincanton Central Warehouse and Clyde Yard locations.
- Maximise supply availability across 2 key projects by liaising with numerous stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Ensuring customer demand is met and logistics costs are controlled in line with budget.
- Responsible for end-to-end material management across steel supply, ensuring optimum level of inventory is held on site.
- Responsible for creating call off instructions and paperwork - facing off to supplier, customer, and internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for tracking OTIF into warehouse and reporting of inbound metric packs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and define corrective action plans.
- Generate and manage supply forecast review process.
- Conduct and lead supply meetings presenting purchase plan requirements to customer planning.
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews with the customer planning and Wincanton transport. Review out of stock, capacity situations or shortage of supply issues and recommend mitigating action.
**What will you bring?**
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven background in a planning role is essential.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new internal systems.
- Confident with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Commercially aware and results driven.
- Strong customer service approach, robust, resilient, and diplomatic. Capacity to deal with a range of stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
