London, United Kingdom S2 Partnership Full time

**Please note, this opportunity is NOT open to recruiters.**

**Our Company**

Join the S2 Partnership to be part of the thriving commercial real-estate sector. Delivering market-leading consultancy and software services to global property owners and investors, the S2 Partnership is renowned for its client-focused approach.

The S2 Partnership has offered specialist fire, safety, and environmental risk management services to the commercial real-estate sector since 1999. From small beginnings, our growing team now offers market-leading software and consultancy, not only in the UK but also internationally, helping our clients to understand and control safety and environmental risk sensibly and pragmatically, wherever they operate. The S2 Partnership is now widely regarded as one of the top providers in this niche sector, working in close partnership with leading FTSE 100 property investors, owners, managers, insurers, occupiers, and others. We take enormous pride in knowing that our clients are at the core of all that we do.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a home-based Graduate Health & Safety Consultant, located in the South of England, to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to undertake general health and safety assessments in the commercial and residential property sector. You will need to have a high level qualification in health and safety, environmental health or similar but experience of completing risk assessments, although advantageous is not required. Full training will be provided to enable you to expand your experience and grow as a risk professional.

The work will mainly involve attending sites across the South with further opportunities to extend this service provision within Europe and further afield if desired. Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work life balance. There will be a requirement to travel to our sites with this role, so you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to sites.

**Competencies and Experience**

You will have:

- Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes
- Excellent technical ability
- Good report writing, IT and communication skills

Desirable professional memberships and skills:

- Experience in undertaking site based H&S / Fire Risk Assessments
- Membership of IOSH or CIEH
- Fire risk assessment qualifications and experience of conducting fire risk assessments

**Why choose us**

At S2, you will be able to develop your skills largely in the way you want, surrounded by industry experts, and we are there to help advise, support and encourage you. S2 recognise that we can drive positive change for the employees, customers and communities with which we are connected. We have always played a proactive role in supporting the community, with staff nominating a “Charity of the Year” to support through participation in national fundraising events and local community activities.

Our people have always been our most valued asset, and so employee well-being is extremely important to us. As such, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse working environment, and support various social events throughout the year. We reward our team members with a competitive salary, cash car payment, a benefits package including 26 days annual leave, profit related bonus scheme, medical insurance, pension fund contributions, group life insurance and employees benefit platform (Lifeworks). We also offer an environmental incentive for low carbon vehicles and free folding bikes to consulting staff who visit clients.
