**Job Title: Self-Employed Mortgage and Protection Advisor**

Lockhart Murphy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Self-Employed Mortgage and Protection adviser to join our team. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain a strong network of clients, referrals, and industry contacts to generate leads and drive business growth.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations, analyzing credit reports, income documents, and other relevant information to determine their eligibility for mortgage products.
- Research and compare mortgage products from various lenders to find the most suitable options for clients' needs and financial goals.
- Negotiate with lenders on behalf of clients to secure the best possible mortgage terms, rates, and conditions.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, market trends, and changes in mortgage products to provide clients with the most current and relevant information.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2/3 years of experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, with a proven track record of success.
- Hold a valid mortgage broker license / qualified to advise.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and mortgage industry practices.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex mortgage concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with mortgage origination software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- High ethical standards and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Striving to be the best Mortgage and Protection adviser in the UK.
