Gardener

**Responsibilities**:

- Be solely responsible for the garden and grounds, overseeing all aspects of planning, purchasing, planting, and maintenance.
- Manage a generous budget allocated for purchasing plants and features, ensuring the garden flourishes under your care.
- Coordinate the delivery of plants and features to our care home, ensuring they are safely and efficiently transported.
- Perform regular garden maintenance tasks, including watering, weeding, pruning, and general upkeep.
- Collaborate with our staff to ensure the garden is well-watered, but be prepared to visit daily at times during the summer months to guarantee optimal care.
- Embrace the opportunity to assist our maintenance team during winter, helping with general maintenance tasks if desired.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a valid driver's license and own a suitable vehicle, as transporting plants and materials will be part of the role.
- Strong organizational skills to purchase plants and plan for the garden's development.
- Flexibility with working hours, as the weekly schedule will vary depending on seasonal demands.
- Strong passion for gardening and the desire to make our garden your own, bringing creativity and expertise to its transformation. We are looking for someone who will take ownership and make the garden their own.
