Roehampton Gate School (RGS) is a school for young people aged 9 -19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Support students in time of crisis.
- Utilise PBS techniques to de-escalate behaviours
- Support & implement PBS plans.
- Carry out interventions to support social and emotional progress
- Liaise with staff across school including Therapy, LSA’s, Teachers & Leaders.
- Attend meetings when required
- Track and support behaviours
- Support classes if & when needed
- Undertake Team Teach procedures when required
- Support the integration of new students
- Liaise with parents and agencies
- Monitor progress of students
- Work dynamically with the pastoral team
- Follow clear professional boundaries when working with students.
- Undertake duties that develop the wider enrichment of students, such as, student voice, breakfast club and events.
