**JOB TITLE**:Supply Chain Coordinator

**LOCATION**:Eastbourne, East Sussex

**HOURS**: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

**SALARY**:£25,000 - £28,000 p/a (dependant on experience)

**BENEFITS**:Auto enrolment pension, 25 days annual leave PLUS bank holidays, on site car parking, shopping discount scheme

Office Angels are working together with the Hiring Manager to on board a Supply Chain Coordinator. This role is an exciting opportunity for a procurement specialist to join their Project Team.

This role will include sourcing, negotiating and procurement of goods, materials, and services to meet project requirements, ensuring that value and quality is maximised, and costs savings are generated.

**About the role**:

- Developing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure partnerships and the delivery of products
- Sourcing, negotiating and procurement of goods, materials and services to maximum cost benefits
- Managing contracts and projects as part of the team
- Ensure you are up to date with detailed knowledge and understanding of requirements and relevant business rules in order to effectively compete in the market
- Identify any risks and be able to implement strategies to resolve them
- Creatively thinking to create effective procurement processes to improve the business
- Producing reports regularly

**About you**:

- **Must have at least 2+ years' experience in a procurement role**:

- **Experience within a project team desirable but not essential**:

- **Familiar with MRP, estimating or procurement solutions desirable**:

- Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft 365 and procurement software's
- Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
- High level skills in negotiating
- Impressive communication skills and relationship building
- Enjoys working on their own initiative and as part of a team
