A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a leading carpentry and joinery firm, which work in all markets - from residential to historic buildings. The company are looking for a Health & Safety Manager on a long-termpermanent basis and are looking for an individual with strong Health & Safety skills with a Construction background.

**Health & Safety Manager - Position Responsibilities**
- Compile the compilation of Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Advising on changes to working practices to ensure they are safe and comply with legislation
- Developing and recommending safety improvement initiatives
- Creation of a framework for the group
- Management of investigation into incidents / accidents and maintenance of appropriate records as and when required
- Maintaining knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that affect the industry
- Carry out planned and ad-hoc site inspections and Audits
- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health
- Staff training in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work,
- Complete new starter inductions within two weeks of new personnel joining the business/site, to ensure all safety procedures are briefed out

**Health & Safety Manager - Position Requirements**
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree level qualification (Advantageous)
- TechIOSH or GradIOSH Membership
- 2 years 'Safety Professional' experience
- 2 Years Construction Experience, including site visits
- Ability to work under pressure with good time Management skills

**Health & Safety Manager - Position Remuneration**
- Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 (dependant on experience)
- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
