**1:1 Classroom Assistant | West Drayton | £85 - £95 PAYE | Full Time | February Start (After Half-Term)**

A fantastic mainstream Primary School in West Drayton is seeking an enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join their team after the half-term break. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering the development of a delightful young student in a reception classroom, providing essential support to enhance her learning and engagement within the school. We are looking for a proactive and committed Reception Classroom Assistant with a passion and drive for supporting young children in their learning journey.

**About you and the role as a Classroom Assistant**:

- Create an environment that encourages active learning, investigation, creativity, and challenge.
- Possess a kind, encouraging, and understanding personality.
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
- Have prior experience with primary-aged children.
- Address individual and collective needs of the students.
- Work alongside the classroom teacher, providing 1:1 support to a pupil in need during classroom activities and lessons.
- Hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS.
- Provide an up-to-date CV and references.
- Relevant experience as a Classroom Assistant, particularly in a primary school setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic school environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare would be advantageous.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.

**Please note**:

- This is a Full-Time position starting after February Half Term 2024.
- Working hours are from 8:30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
