Anchorage Chambers, an established and growing Insolvency practice specialising in Nominating & Supervising Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), is seeking an IVA Case Assessor to join our team.

Located in the heart of Salford Quays, we offer a relaxed yet highly professional work environment, focusing on both business growth and personal development.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IVA Case Assessor to join our expanding team of Insolvency professionals.

As an IVA Case Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient assessment of packaged cases, working closely with our Senior Finance Manager and external introducers.

Your attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of insolvency procedures will be essential in maintaining the high standards expected by our Insolvency Practitioner.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

Conducting comprehensive reviews of packaged cases provided by the Senior Finance Manager and external introducers.

Verifying property valuations by conducting land registry searches and examining relevant land registry documents.

Collaborating with the Senior Finance Manager and external introducers to obtain any missing information or required documents.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of voting house and creditors' requirements.

Preparing the Case Assessor handover document to ensure smooth transition of cases.

Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

Assessing whether the provided documents and information meet the expectations and rules of the Insolvency Practitioner.

Thoroughly reviewing customers' bank statements, including identifying any non-standard findings such as unexplained transactions above £100, undisclosed second bank accounts, adherence to business gambling rules, and undisclosed creditors.

Additionally, verifying rent, utilities, insurance, and other irregular expenses.

Conducting a detailed analysis of payslips, including identifying unusual tax codes, verifying accurate income tax and national insurance calculations (considering potential rebates), detecting attachment of earnings, identifying share saves schemes, determining pay frequency, and ensuring proper disclosure of income.

Conducting a comprehensive review of creditors and the evidence provided, including obtaining full reference numbers and evidence of all debts through collaboration with the creditor call team.

Identifying County Court Judgements and verifying ownership.

Documenting any instances where management/Insolvency Practitioner/BDM discretion has been applied, ensuring appropriate authorization on the relevant admin system.

Ensuring timely sending of animations to customers before SIP3 calls.

Confirming the scheduled time of the call with external introducers when the case is provided by them.
- **Requirements**:_

Previous experience as an IVA Case Assessor or in a similar role within the insolvency field.

Strong understanding of insolvency procedures and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments.

Proficiency in conducting property valuations and land registry searches.

Effective communication and liaison skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures.

Sound knowledge of creditors' requirements and evidence gathering.

Ability to identify non-standard findings in bank statements, payslips, and creditor information.

Proficient in documenting and maintaining accurate records.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
