**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The Central Systems Integration Team are accountable for the integration of all customer features and functions into our customer products. The team ensures that seamless cross-functional working happens to execute all phases of feature, systems and software delivery - creation of design requirements and specifications, requirements exchange and agreement, network design finalisation and test case execution, to introduce features and software in the target electrical architecture(s) in a planned and controlled way.

Within the CSI team, the MLA Feature Integration TGL role is accountable for the maturation and delivery of customer features into current and future MLA programmes to sign-off level in line with programme gateways. Working across the business functions, all cross-functional delivery steps to deliver the features must be understood and communicated to domains as time-based goals to co-ordinate their integration into vehicles and test assets. Working with the delivery domains in Agile methodology, the Feature Integration TGL ensures that all elements of feature implementation happen in a timely manner, spotting any threats that arise, removing roadblocks and resolving any cross-functional disconnects to allow the overall plan to succeed.

To support transparency of status to the wider business, the TGL is responsible for maintaining the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within the JIRA toolset, driving inputs and producing the weekly consolidated Integration Report. Together these provide all stakeholders with full view of plans for feature and function availability and maturity, so that functionality for vehicles and test properties is continually understood. The progress of the Integration Report is presented out via bi-weekly Showcases to company leadership and senior stakeholders which the TGL supports.

The Feature Integration TGL leads a team of Feature Integration Leads, providing leadership and guidance to help them achieve the teams’ objectives, as well as assisting with their training and development needs.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Primary responsibility is ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of vehicle features and systems across MLA programmes, identifying and removing any roadblocks that may prevent success.
- Engage Domains and CoC delivery areas to understand feature delivery timelines, assist and lead system owners with delivery issues, drive resolution of critical issues affecting function quality and/or introduction date to achieve sign-off of all features.
- Manage a team of feature integration engineers providing coaching and leadership to forward their development.
- Maintain the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) in the JIRA tool, prepare reports and gateway sign-off papers for feature completion, provide briefing packs for Engineering VIP drives.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Significant relevant experience of working in an end-to-end automotive Systems Engineering design & delivery environment.
- Through understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle - system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design reviews, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance.
- Experience in leading teams of people to successfully achieve project objectives.
- High levels of motivation, energy and leadership will be required to bring teams together and work to find solutions under pressure.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.

**Desirable**:

- Willingness to work flexibly on occasion, in terms of location and hours.
- Class 3 driver training level or equivalent.
