Our team is more than 40-strong, many of whom are in technical and engineering roles. Our technical services team are Cisco accredited up to CCNP. All cabling engineers are accredited to CCNSG or CSCS and have IPAF and PASMA training. Many of our staff haveclearances required to work in high security environment such as the Police and Prison Service.

**The Role
The objective of this role will be to open doors and find opportunities for lucrative, commercial opportunities for enterprise networking, structured cabling and IT infrastructure projects with both public and private sector clients across a variety of verticals
**Day to Day
- Devising an effective strategy to identify and target prospective clients
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Net new business focused, you will increase your client base through proactive business development methods and techniques
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Expanding existing accounts by winning new projects
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Writing business proposals
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Following industry trends locally and internationally
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Overseeing the development of marketing literature
- Maintaining relationships with staff and updating them on project developments
**Job Benefits
- Salary - Basic salary will be up to **£55,000** DOE
- Uncapped commission structure - **£28,000** OTE
- Predicted year 1 OTE of £83,000
- Year 2 - £100,000+
- Car Allowance or Electric Car Scheme
- We can accommodate remote working, hybrid working or you can work from office in the North-West
- 25 days holiday
**Person Specification
- Previous industry experience is vital - ideally you will have sold IT centric products and solutions - IT infrastructure, network infrastructure, structured cabling, IT architecture
- A new business hunters mentality
- Experience in a proactive sales role selling solutions is essential
- Ability to consultatively sell to clients and a level of technical proficiency when articulating our service provision
- Innovative and dynamic with an ability to try different approaches and explore new ideas to reach your objectives
- Tenacious and driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with customers and create new relationships
- A willingness to learn new skills
