Lockheed Martin have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our team on a 6 month contract, based at our Ampthill site in Bedfordshire.

We operate a 4 day working week, giving you every Friday off and offer hybrid working typically onsite 2/3 days a week.

By joining the HR team as a HR Administrator, you'll have responsibility for providing an excellent service to employees, line managers and HR team to enable a smooth and efficient management of the employee lifecycle.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Be the first point of contact for all first line HR operational advice and support.
- Efficiently manage and administer the employee life cycle process in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed for each process eg starters, leavers, reward/benefits, payroll input, absence, holidays etc.
- Responsible for administering and maintaining all contractual changes, ensuring letters are produced, issued and returned in a timely manner.
- Create and manage HR e-files for all new starters, adhering to Data Protection guidelines.
- Process the monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Produce and maintain regular HR reports/metrics to the HR Team, ensuring the ongoing accuracy and maintenance of HRIS data.
- Take minutes in meetings.
- Process reasonable adjustment requests, liaising with Occupational Health provider to order equipment.
- Interact and collaborate, building and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
- Support with HR projects and initiatives.
- Identify, own and drive process improvement

**Required skills and experience**:

- Ideally have previous HR experience
- CIPD qualification desirable / working towards
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be agile and adapt to changing priorities
- Team player
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal
- Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office i.e. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver
- Highly organised and pragmatic approach and able to deliver to set deadlines
- Holds high level of professionalism at all times, ensuring high standards.
