**Salary**:£21,100 per annum plus sleep in allowance of £2,600 per annum (based on a minimum of 1 sleep-in per week)

**Location**:Mold, Flintshire

**Contract/Hours**:Permanent, Full-time - 37 hours per week

**A bit about the role**

Due to the expansion of the project, we have another opportunity at our Arosfa Disability service, which supports children who have additional needs. We pride ourselves on providing a home-from-home experience for our children and young people. Our well-equipped setting gives parents complete peace of mind while their children enjoy a sleepover' and we're certain that our staff have plenty of fun, too

The post involves working shifts on a rota basis including weekend working and sleep in duties. Your tasks will include supporting our young people to take part in fun activities as well as learn new skills and work towards independence. Young people accessing the service have disabilities; autism or additional learning needs whilst others could present with behaviour that may be a challenge and some will need help with personal care or communication.

**How you'll help to create brighter futures**

We are now seeking an Residential Support Worker to help us maintain the high standards of care and personal development our young people have come to expect. You will achieve this by:

- Getting involved in lots of fun activities both within the project and out in the community
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines of the young people.
- Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Safeguarding young people.
- Helping coach young people to develop essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning and money matters

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our supportive team These are excellent opportunities to support activities and sessions providing quality care for children in need. As well as this we are looking for:

- Level 3 QCF in Social Care or happy to work toward this after your probation period, which we will support you with.
- Experience working within a children's home, short breaks setting.
- Experience of working with children and young people with disabilities.
- Registration or willingness to register with Social Care Wales,
