**About the team**

FIS has recently established a CBDC and Digital Currencies unit within our Central Payment infrastructure business unit (RealNet Central). The mission of the team is to help nations transformation to digital first real time economy, through the provision of mission critical payment infrastructure products and services. These efforts support the wider FIS vision to be the market leader in the global real time payments & money movement including entering new markets emerging specific to CBDC and Digital Currencies.

**What you will be doing**
- Product technical lead / solution architect for CBDC and Digital Currencies will be responsible for developing FIS product technical solutions and will support strategy specialists to co-create and enhance FIS products and services
- Design technology, solution and network architecture for central banks, banks, PSPs and other financial institutions
- Advise central banks on the technical design choice as well any trade-offs of any technology solution
- Shape and deliver CBDC and other Digital Currencies solution / implementations
- Lead vendor / partner assessment from a technical perspective
- Make decisions on technology including whether blockchain technology should be used
- Explain comparative advantages and disadvantages of different technology
- Formulate innovative payment use cases

**What you bring**
- Passionate expert in the field of CBDC and Digital Currencies
- Previous experience in leading technical teams and designing of CBDC and / or Digital Currencies pilots (including architecture)
- Hands-on experience with multiple blockchain platforms including
- Set up and configuration of nodes in a distributed network
- Smart contracts
- Key management
- Network management, security and architecture
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills including bridging the gap to senior non-technical clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products
- Agile experience leading software development teams
- Senior client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients’ needs, establishing credibility, and building positive, professional, relationships with clients
- Previous experience with institutional clients such as banks and other financial intermediaries working on enterprise grade solutions
- Understanding of Dev Ops techniques
- Experience of cloud-based microservices
