Recruitment Team Lead

**Salary**: £33,941 to £36,541 pa

Location: based at Berkshire but travel to all sites required

Hours Per Week: 37

Permanent

As Recruitment Team Lead you will be responsible for managing the recruitment service for the further education college group ensuring that the service is efficient and compliant. Working closely with Partners and Hiring Managers you will provide advice and support to help fulfil the recruitment needs of the College group.

The main base site for this role will be in Langley, Slough however travel will be required to all colleges sites in the group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Recruitment Officers and Apprentice (as required)
- Liaise with Partners regarding upcoming requirements.
- Use and maintain the HRIS, making changes including but not limited to payroll information, onboarding new employees, and producing information and reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
- Contribute to and work closely with the Partners and People Data Lead to ensure the accuracy of data, especially for the Single Central Record.
- Support the induction process, including arranging and carrying out HR inductions for new starters, liaising with managers and the Operations Team and Culture team to ensure that new starters are booked onto relevant training and have all the necessary information.
- Manage the leaver process, including arranging exit interviews, liaising with managers in relation to exit arrangements, and passing information to relevant departments.
- Manage the administration of the probation and DBS process. Draft letters and written correspondence including contracts of employment and amendments.
- Liaise with managers and agencies to recruit temporary staff negotiating the best rates possible.
- Increase the Group's visibility within the local communities, and wider, through attendance at jobs fairs and other new opportunities.
- Promote a teaching, learning and working environment that is free from discrimination, harassment and bullying and where all students and staff feel safe to express their individuality.
- Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Maintain student morale and discipline within the college site.
- Through CPD ensure you keep up to date with relevant industry and academic development.
- Conduct yourself whilst undertaking college duties within the parameters of the Group's values.
- Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility within the Group.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 2 English and Maths
- Level 5 CIPD (desirable)
