**JKS Floorings Ltd** is a thriving local business with a family feel. We provide a complete end-to-end flooring service for our customers from our branches in Seaton, Honiton, and Chard, and have a warehouse in Colyton. Our small, friendly team at our head office and showroom in Seaton are the hub of **JKS** which is where you will be working as our **Showroom Sales Administrator.**

**As our Showroom Sales Administrator, a typical day might include the following**:

- Advising and chatting to our customers in our showroom
- Liaising with our suppliers and placing orders, accepting deliveries
- Organising appointments and fittings in the showroom calendar
- Typing up estimates, order confirmations, and invoices
- Scheduling work for our fitters (they're the ones on their knees all day)

- you love spending time with people and helping them; it’s a busy showroom so you won't fluster easy
- you pay attention to the details; anything worth doing is worth doing right.
- you are really organised and love a good process; even better if you can see where we can make improvements too
- you want to make sure each and every one of our customers has the best experience possible. We don't advertise; much of our business is word of mouth and repeat customers - and we like it this way
- you communicate clearly. You can explain just about anything to anyone, and are comfortable communicating in person, by phone or in writing.
- you are motivated and take on new challenges without waiting to be asked; although you know when you're out of your depth and when to ask for help.
- you like learning new things and can think on your feet; change doesn't floor you
- you are looking for a part-time, flexible role - we are looking for someone to work approximately 16 hours per week, Mondays and Tuesdays. If you would like to work flexibly around school hours, then we can offer shorter days on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the possibility of an occasional Saturday

**If you're thinking of applying, it would be ideal if you**:

- have previous sales and/or admin experience
- know your way around a computer - Microsoft programmes (Excel, Word & Outlook) are used daily
- are confident communicating, so excellent written and verbal skills
- have a mathematical brain, so good with numbers
- have worked in a customer-facing role - this could be a retail outlet, shop, or a hotel
- resourceful, self-motivated, and flexible - as it's a small showroom, you will be 'doing a bit of everything'

**It would be even better if**:

- you have worked in the carpet and flooring world - but don't worry if not, full training will be given and lots of opportunities to learn 'on the job'

- Then, it's time to start as **JKS's Showroom Sales Administrator**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
