Our success depends on the commitment and hard work of our thousand-strong staff. We are looking to recruit a Head of HR to lead the delivery of our recently launched HR strategy which recognises and seeks to build on that exceptional contribution of our people.

In this senior role, you will lead and inspire the HR team to ensure delivery of a first-rate HR service to the Museum, ensuring a high degree of consistency, efficiency and effectiveness. You will develop positive, constructive relations with managers and employees. You will also be a trusted advisor to the senior management team, combining a deep understanding of legislation and best practice, sound analytical skills and proven ability to be adaptable and pragmatic in ensuring solutions to challenges and in developing and delivering new initiatives.

With experience at a senior level across the full range of HR practice, you will also have a track record of effective delivery in an organisation of comparable size and complexity. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and excellent judgement will be essential for success in this pivotal role for the Museum.
