**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Peripatetic General Manager at Barchester, you’ll travel across your division to help us deliver the high standards we’re known for. We’ll look to you to support care homes that have been identified as having concerns in improving their services or providingsupport where there is a General Manager vacancy. You’ll be working alongside Care Home General Managers and Care Home Deputy General Managers to develop and implement action plans that make sure resident’s needs are met.

As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you can expect to help investigate formal complaints, collaborate with external healthcare professionals to resolve concerns and promote policies within our care homes. You’ll also be committed to getting ourteams to the very best clinical standards through learning and development programmes. In the role of Peripatetic General Manager, you’ll make a real difference to resident’s lives across your division - and be truly valued and respected for what you do.

**ABOUT YOU**
You’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration to join us as Peripatetic General Manager. Experience in supporting care homes through complex concerns and complaints is important, as is your understanding of the independent socialand healthcare sector.

Self-motivated, innovative and compassionate, you’ll be able to build strong professional relationships in every care home you support as well as with external health professionals. You’ll also need to have a full driving licence to be able to travel acrossthe division. Finally, like us, you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred care.

The position is full time and is a national role.
