**What will I be doing as a Lab Assistant?**
- Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support production activities
- Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses
- Prepare samples
- Maintaining and operate analytical equipment
- Supporting on plant, in process testing
- Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- Maintaining good accurate written records of work carried out
- Recording and interpret results to support production and ensure compliance
- Using computers and perform spreadsheet type calculations for the determination and presentation of results
- Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
- Researching on relevant topics
- Maintaining compliance with Management Systems
- Following and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks

**We would LOVE to speak to you if you have the following skills and experiences**:

- Either experience in a similar Lab Assistant or possibly a chemistry graduate looking to build a career
- Good Laboratory Practice
- Health and safety in a lab environment
- An understanding of Principles of Quality Assurance
- Excellent written skills
- Good ability with Microsoft Office
