**The company**
You will be working for a self-contained business unit that delivers comprehensive food safety auditing services on behalf of the UK major retailers.
They are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join and strengthen their existing dedicated technical team.
**About the Technical Account Manager job**
You will work alongside the Customer Technical team to deliver all day-to-day activities for the customer audit/consultancy programme, ensuring the SLA is met in full.
You will establish and provide routine reporting services for your key customer, looking at emerging issues, trends, and risks within their supply chain.
The role will also involve attending a few audits/consultancy services per year to ensure processes are working smoothly and identify any areas for improvement.
**About You**
This role would suit someone with strong food manufacturing QA/technical experience, together with great customer relationship skills, who is looking for a unique role where you can utilise your skills.
- Food Science (or similar) degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven food industry track record in quality assurance, enforcement, factory audits or food safety functions.
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Experience in auditing is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail in work and possess excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Driving licence essential and Passport
**More details**
The Technical Account Manager job is a homebased role with travel as required to customer premises and the company head office in the East Midlands. Some international travel will also be required.
The role is paying £55,000 - £57,500 according to your experience plus a £4,500 car allowance.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
