Despatch Coordinator

**Job Description**:
Despatch Coordinator | Salary: £27,000.00 - £31,000.00 dependant on experience.
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Despatch Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Analyse which orders are available to be shipped to the Customer and report back to the planning department on any that are not complete
- Keep Production Planning updated on any delays with transport
- Send delivery notes electronically to all customers advising them of what has shipped
- Follow up any queries/special instructions on orders
- Support customer service with delivery queries
- Liaise with the Production Team on progress of parts
- Arranging import/export documentation for goods shipping to outside the EU
- Ensure accuracy of outer case labels information is correct
- Ensure that the correct packaging is being used as per customer requirements.
- Ensure that all non-conforming product information is quickly communicated to line supervisors and managers to minimise any downtime.
- To use any equipment in a correct and safe manner
- To organise and plan the daily transport requirements, booking in the required number of vehicles with the Transport manager 24 hours in advance
- Disciplined, self-motivated, professional individual.

- Ability to build, plan and execute on critical time frames
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with Customers
- Experience in using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- Experience using Sage preferable.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:00-16:00 & Fri 07:00-12:00.

**Salary**: £27,000.00 - £31,000.00 dependant on experience.
