The Junior Surveyor will report to the Associate Surveyor/Associate Fire Engineer, Associate Director or Director within their team or region.

**Reporting**

The role of the Junior Fire Surveyor is to conduct various types of surveys and assessments for RIBA Stage 5 projects while developing their own knowledge and understanding within the industry.

7 Stage Role Brief:

- Undertaking inspections and providing inspection reports in an appropriate format, to an accepted standard and a timely manner. Initially this will be supervised, over time the Junior Fire Surveyor should become independent.
- Liaising with the Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to deliver survey reports in line with our contractual requirements.
- Develop an understanding of fire safety design and guidance for different buildings. A knowledge of the regulatory process is essential and how that surveyor fits into the Golden Thread.
- Assist senior team members with more complex surveys as required.
- Assist in the production of internal product literature & guidance.
- Liaise with the engineering team.
- Strong skill set in digital working, quality management including processes and deliverables.

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
