**The Role**

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced utility surveyor in the Glasgow area. The role would involve carrying out surveys at sites throughout the U.K and beyond.
- Conducting utility surveys using modern survey methods and devices.
- Resolving any unexpected site issues and seeking help from the team and management when required.
- Accurately recording surveying information on site to the agreed specification and scope.
- Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that we deliver to our client's expectations.
- Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
- Checking the quality of information collected on site and ensuring a successful transition to deliverables.
- Mentoring and training junior surveying staff as required.
- Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Carrying out any other duties as required by the business.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years+ of experience in the utility surveying industry with a strong understanding of PAS 126 standards.
- Strong understanding of using total stations, GNSS receivers and utility markers.
- Proficient in the creation of written survey reports, permits to dig, manhole and inspection chamber record cards in accordance with PAS128.
- Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with clients.
- Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required (such as night shift etc).
- A full UK driver's license.
- The right to work in the UK.

**Salary**: £17,048.72-£39,690.60 per year
